Malta's enjoys a Mediterannean climate
with long hot dry summers and short wetter winters. Three quarters
of Malta's annual rainfall falls between October and March while the
peak holiday months of June, July and August are almost always dry.
Frequent stiff sea breezes help make the soaring temperatures more
manageable in summer near the coast, although the southern sirocco
is hot and humid.
