Qawra and Qawra bay tourist information

photo: Qawra hotels from the rocky beach

Qawra (the Q is silent) is a resort town in St. Paul's Bay neighbouring Bugibba and is popular with tourists because of its ample supply of hotels, holiday homes, restaurants and bars.

The bus station in Qawra offers handy links to all the major northern coastal towns and the bay area affords lots of watersports opportunities and bathing areas. Unfortunately there is no sandy beach here and the rocky coastline is a little uncomfortable but with so many things to do in town, Qawra is a decent spot for your Malta holiday.

The resort town of Qawra is popular with British tourists. There are plenty of Irish and English style pubs including Diana's Bar. A friendly, welcoming place plastered with pictures of the late princess.
